My Twin, Billie Beavers Davidson, and I graduated with Tommy. Thanks to Jerry Arrington we were able to keep up with Tom's condition as soon as Jerry knew. Thanks Jerry! I truly loved, admired and respected Tommy and send my deepest sympathy to his family. May our Lord and Savior ease your pain of loss as time goes on. Never forget the sweet memories. Always keep them in your heart where he will always be. The video was so precious. Thank You for sharing. Love and respect. Willie Mae Beavers. Class of 1962 Monday, August 06, 2012 |

My condolences to Tom's companion, Clara, his brother, Rodney, his children, extended family members in addition to all of his friends.
Jerry Arrington was a contact who maintained a current thread of information on Tom's health and his condition. I appreciated Jerry Arrington for efforts in providing that loop of information.
In high school Tom was a very outgoing, popular, and funny person. Always upbeat. I remember him (Class of 62' ) as one of my basketball teammates ; ( I was Class of 60' ) ...Tommy was truly a SHS - "Oiler".
He lived on Tidwell Street along with a number of other schoolmates who were in close proximity to their home.
There was a classic picture that I have seen of a young Tommy and some of his friends as they frolicked about on campus.....it was most endearing shot. Sunday, August 05, 2012 |

Rodney, I am very sad to learn of Tommy's death. I was in the class ahead of him at SHS but got to know him well in 1963 when we all lived at the medical center in LR. You and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sunday, August 05, 2012 |

Chris, Daniel, Clara, Rodney and family so sorry we didn't get to speak to you today at the memorial service. I know Tom was and woulld be so proud of you and the way his service was conducted. Not tears, just fond memories of a man who loved life, his family and was loved by everyone he met. Tom and I had a lot of good times together all through school and deer hunting together. He was a good friend and will be dearly missed. Robert & Patsy Tribble Saturday, August 04, 2012 |

Chris and Daniel, Tom left a lot of memories in my mind of the many times he sacrificially gave up his time and drove us to quiz meets and also the many loud evenings he had to put up with during quiz practices at ya'lls house. He never complained and always had a smile on his face! We are sorry to hear of his passing and will be thinking and praying for your family. God bless. Saturday, August 04, 2012 |

Chris & Daniel, i'm so sorry for loss. I feel very blessed to have known Tom. Your dad taught me how to hunt deer and he is a big reason that my career at the IRS has been so successful. Your dad used to say "I taught you everything I know, and you still don't know anything". Boy was he wrong. I will truly miss your dad, but will cherish his friendship & guidance. God bless you and your family. Saturday, August 04, 2012 |
