I just received the Osc Times and found out about your Dad. I am so sorry for your lost. I called Mom and Dad to tell them, they had no idea. They both were speechless. You know they were so very fond of your Dad and Mom, and have such wonderful memories, lots of laughter and some tears. Daddy and John always were pulling pranks on each other. Which both enjoyed so much. I hate we didn't make the funeral, if we had only known you know we would have been there. You can be thankful your Mom and Dad are now walking in Heaven together, side by side. Heaven has a good Man. We loved him very much.

Dear Cheryl, Roland and Jimmy,
I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. He was a good man and a good friend, along with your Mom, to Daddy and Mama. I have vivid and fond memories of being in his Sunday School class in the old church building. He always had a smile and hardy handshake, as well as a helping hand to any who needed him.
